Content Field Plans for Teaching

Teaching Field Plans list the specific content classes (i.e. Biology, Mathematics, English, History etc.) students should take to get certified to teach the desired high school subject(s). Additionally, these courses help prepare students to be successful on the state of Texas certification exams. The templates below provide the suggested content coursework for each area of certification. For most students these courses are already a part of their degree plan; however, some of the larger or composite field plans will suggest additional courses to meet the overall content covered for the certification area.  Go to the contacts tab to schedule an appointment with the aggieTEACH-Arts & Sciences office to see how compatible your degree is with the Content Field Plan for Teaching.
